We are working slowly on our little farm. we have chickens, just got some turkeys, and we have rabbits.
Chickens doing well.. So easy and fun to watch. we have two Broody hens... Had to get some fertile eggs (no roosters they ended up on the dinner table after attacking the queen bee dog (cockapoo) ).
One is doing pretty good the other discovered the young turkeys and decided they were hers so she is baby sitting the turkeys. LOL
Have rabbits we have Havanna's. Not a great meat breed but what we started with. Got a mutt (not sure what he is) from a neighbour on trade.
Found this forum looking up the altex breed. Looking forward to the advice and expanding what we have.
Current plans for more animals include some pigs, want to get into quail, and I really want a goat.
So looking forward to being here and all the advice.
