Neither one had kidded yet. However, the red head's daughter from last January had her first kid today. She had a single doeling.
I think I had another one kid last night. You're probably asking how do you not know. My wife checked them for me last night. She counted all of them, but one looked smaller this afternoon when I checked. The girl just had a small spot of blood above her udder, but her woman parts look like she had kidded. There was no blood around her woman parts though. I looked out in the field and found about a 12 inch long, 2 inch wide of a baby goat hide. Never found anything else. I'm guessing the racoons, possums, or armadillos got it.
Well the black headed girl had twin doe kids around 4:30 this afternoon. As of this evening I'm not sure if the have eaten or not yet. I milked her around 10 and tried to offer a bottle to the new kids, but they didn't seem to interested, so hopefully they have eaten. If not, they should be hungry in the morning when I go out there with the bottle. I've got three new babies 3 days or less right now. Should have more coming!
