My friend recently got this sweet boy. She no idea which breed he is. I am only familiar with my Nigerian Dwarfs. So I turned out not to be much help to her. I told her I’d post for her. Also sent her the link so she can join, I told her this is a very helpful group.

That there is Handsome Young Buck breed. Well known for being nice to children and adoring anyone with raisins or animal crackers. Congrats to your friend on her addition!

Nubian x Alpine cross is my guess. Ears indicate Nubian. Flat nose and coloring says Alpine.

I'm thinking Alpine and ND/Nub. Yeah, definitely a mix. Good grass and weeds will be his best friend. LOTS of it. He'll slick out for ya. Cutie for sure.

Yes, I agree with @Mini Horses ..I just had an Alpine/Nubian...she was close to that but ears were up..and face was not that pointy like the NDs I have. He is a cutie!! I’d say, which ever features she likes best, breed with that to accentuate them...so, if it’s the ears..go Nubian...color..go Alpine...etc. that way, it would be easier to sell any offspring, because you would know what to list the goat as....that’s important to most goat owners..they want lineage....breed, etc... he is a looker! Very cute indeed!

Coloring looks Toggenburg. Definietly a cross. How big is he?

I would worm him as well as feed him more. She might want to put him on a bit of grower ration too until he fills out. Not too much grain though. And do a CDT vaccination as well.
