Tired and cruising CL again and saw this. Makes me feel so bad. :(

GOATS FOUND!!! We found two medium sized goats in our hunting woods. Each goat has a collar on them...one with a green, one with a purple collar. These goats are incredibly friendly but wont let us cath them do pen them up anywhere. Please call if you know who owns or who is missing these goats so we can get them returned to their rightfull owner. Please call 765-212-8932. http://muncie.craigslist.org/grd/3380380442.html

I hate this too. I was on my way to a hair appointment almost 2 weeks ago and saw 3 goats running up the middle of the road. My friend and I tried to catch them for 2 hours. Two were babies and 1 was a little bit older. We could catch them. Animal control came and scared them off. After the 2 hours I could not find them anymore and had to give up. I am still worrying about them. I have gone back several times and not seen them. I just hope they are safe.

Yeah it sucks when that happens. Happened to me once. Luckily after 5 hours of searching they were found. They had been missing for roughly 13 hours though. We found them more than a mile away and in the thickest, densest woods you'll ever see. I sure hope these people find their goats.

When I was a youngster, our calves where in a stall in the old barn which had a board missing. One after noon my cousin's friend came over and was getting loud in the barn which spooked the calves. They bolted out the missing space where the board should have been. My cousin and I tried to diagonally head them off but his friend wouldn't listen and just ran down behind the calves. When they hit the woods we where able to drive 2 back to the barn but couldn't find one. 2 weeks later someone found it in his herd 20 miles away. We brought it home but it was always a little wild after that.
