Are my 8-week Nigerians gaining enough weight?

We have had our little Nigerian doelings for 2 weeks now. They are doing really well although one of them, Clementine, was sick with coccidia and strongyles last week. She is doing much better now. (We treated both doelings for both parasites.) I weighed both doelings on Nov 24th and they were
Kiki- 13.5 lbs
Clementine- 11.5 lbs

Today, Dec 2 (9 days later) they are at:
Kiki- 16 lbs!
Clementine 12.5 lbs

Does that look like appropriate growth? I was hoping Clementine had gained a little more but maybe a pound isn't bad for 9 days while sick.
Thanks!

It is dependent on growth. Some are slow some are fast.
currently I have 4 doelings that have the same mother and father two are growing fast and two are growing slow but all are on the exact same diet, dewormers, vaccines, and disease prevention program (most of my goat kids are on the same thing).

If this decrease in weight continues and she either is losing weight or not gaining any at all email me and I can probably tell you whats wrong with her.

Enjoy the goats.:)

They seem fine. They are gaining and as long as you have progression it's all good! :)

x2
I think they are doing well also. The one that had the soft stools will get back on track.
I've got a Clementine too. Twin girls Clara Belle and Clementine.

How old are yours now? I seem to remember they were 6 weeks old when you brought them home?

Are they related to each other?

Thanks, you guys. They are unrelated but from the same herd. They are about 8 weeks old now. They were born around Oct 6th.

Clara Belle and Clementine are sweet names!

Think about it this way. The probably average around 3-3 1/2 lbs at birth depending on if they are a single, twin, etc.

So, even Clementine the smaller has probably close to quadrupled her weight since birth.

True. And Clementine was one of triplets. Kiki was a single or a twin- I'm not sure which.
