We are the depository for stray and "set out" dogs. Last week, it was a beagle. Today, when it looked like it was ready to rain, I called the chickens in. When they came stumbling over the hill, two fluffy bouncing puppies came with them!

My neighbor called me on the phone and asked me if we got new dogs. I said "no" - she said "have you seen those two big white puppies?" I said, "Yup, I think they are guarding my chickens."

When I got the chickens locked away, the dogs went directly over and flopped down in front of the goat pen. Not sure what to do about them. The neighbor says they have been haning in our area for two days. Do you think they look like Pyrs? i am afraid to put an add in the paper because there is an animal experimentation "clinic" near here that is notorious for picking up dogs and cats that don't belong to them. :hit

Here are a few pictures I snapped of the girls when they weren't licking the camera...

I raise PB Maremmas and I can say for sure they are not them. Could be Pyrs or a cross of two LGD

They look like a pyr/poodle mix to me. GP have the fluffy white hair, but it looks tighter. They also have a wider nose. I've never seen any or our pyrs that looked so "loose" in the hair. They are more like qtips.

The latest craze of designer dogs are labradoodles. Lab/poodle mix. The ones I have seen have slightly wavier hair than those, but I haven't seen that many.
Are they calm? Doodles are known to be a bit crazy.. um... high spirited.
Do they appear obedient?

We breed Mini Labradoodles, ours are NOT crazy/high spirited and are exceptionally trainable. Those dogs look nothing like Labradoodles, full size or mini. Labradoodles are more than just a Lab/Poodle mix, ours are second generation, 3/4 poodle, 1/4 lab. Aussie Labradoodles have golden retriever and spaniel in them as well.

Judging from what you said about them being pups, from the size of them and the black nose and the hair, they look like Pyr crosses to me.

I have no clue as to the cross though, as their muzzle is on the narrow side and they do not have the dark Cleopatra markings around their eyes that full Pyr's have.

Looks like you have yourself 2 LGD's.
