He is a cutie. Do you already have any breeding plans for him?

Yes! :)

We have 1 Lamancha that was bred to a Nigie and produced a single doeling, a mini mancha. We want to breed the Lamancha to the lamancha for more lamanchas and then hopefully with the doelings produced breed them for mini manchas.

I LOVE the Nigies and LOVE the Lamancha's.
The milk is delicious, creamy and a little sweet! The production is excellent. The mini's are not as large as the PB Lamanchas but not quite as small as the nigies (I like the size) but they will produce a good volume.

Here is a pic of his dam....

Our goal is to have dairy goats that will have a range of low, mid to high output. Not everyone needs high output and they end up not being able to anything with all the "extra" milk...it ends up poured down the sink. So like most everything we do here, is in the helping others to determine their needs and help match what is going to be the best animals suited for the need.

I LOVE HOW QUIET the Lamancha is! :D

He is hopping all over the family room! He is so adorable! Now... I just need to find him a buddy! ;)

Ok, so now I totally understand all the screaming and excitement I heard over the phone! What a handsome young man. Cannot believe how big he is already. That facial expression when he sees his new family for the first time is absolutely priceless!!! Everyone on your farm is simply gorgeous. From the LGD's to all the goats, chickens, etc. I would be HONORED for one of my precious boys to join your family!! Good job, JK.....just think, now you get to pick one or TWO more!!! :clap

You are saving me a lot of trouble trying to figure out my game plan for our little farm so I hope you don't mind having your model copied. :)

That is a really innovative way to have several things that meets the different needs.
