Baby goat dying

Yesterday I went outside to have a smoke and heard one of my baby goats crying. Thinking momma had laid on one of her triplets again I ran over to check. Found my baby boy screaming his head of and blind. He had been fine a few hrs before. After checking all over I found no other symptoms so I brought him in the house. Suspecting goat polio I started him on vit b1. He has only just gone down hill from there. He now has seizures a fever, and can't stand. I'm now wondering if it is listeria and have dosed him with 3ml penicillin in his hind leg. I have him on probiotic as well and will continue his vit b1. This is heartbreaking.

Momma and his brother and sister seem great.. Once the babies were weaned I had planned to milk mom for our person milk supply :/.

Sounds like some kind of infection. I hope you can pull him out of it.
