That is concerning- they need that feed if not they can become weak and that is not good

That has to be the priority on day 1-2.

It is actually the first 6-12 hours. After 24 is too late.

I said that because sometimes they're born early/late evening (day one) into the next morning (day 2) Guess I should have stipulated hours huh?

Good news!!! I went out this morning to check on the babies and they both had full, round bellies. As I was out there giving mama some hay, they both got up and nursed a bit. Hurray!!!!
