Red cell has always seemed to stimulate appetite in my horses, maybe for her, too. I sure hope she kids soon --- can't WAIT to see how many are in there!
Red cell is my favorite go to for my goats...great for anemic goats, it is full of vitamins and iron, has some copper in it...weak goat,, pregnant goats and underconditioned thin goats can benefit from it's use...
The staff lead the campers through “farm chores” every morning and evening. The staff person came to me this morning and said “I haven’t done morning chores. What do I do?” So I told her to grab a paper. She said she didn’t need to. I said “fill one half of the tray with grain. Just one scoop. And put a handful of calf manna on top. The calves get the feed in the blue bag. They do not get calf manna. Fresh water, and hay.”
I go out to check, and there’s no grain. But one half of the tray was very carefully filled with goat mineral. Here is Gertrude saying “the grain is right there, and it goes right here.”
This is her resting corner. She is not showing signs of labor (pressing), she just rubs her face on everything in that corner before she lays down. I’m cleaning out her coop this afternoon. But this shows how wide she’s gotten. The storms knocked down a few limbs that the kids picked up for her.
