Banding the uhm....

I got my wether banded a week prior before I got him. He didn't drop until later and that is why she banded him later than usual. One question is how long does it take for the sac to drop? It's very hard but it hasn't fallen off. I've had him 2 weeks so far. What if it didn't work? What do I do?

Agree. It will take at least a month and some take longer than that.

It can take 4-6 weeks usually. It seems like it takes forever. Then one day you go out to check on the goats and his sac is gone

Thank you guys. I have a friend that told me her cows fall off after 2 weeks, thought something was wrong with my goats since it is smaller.
