hey there, i was wondering we could start a thread that added in things to have around the barnyard in case of an emergency. i lost a goat yesterday and think if i would have had the proper equipment, it wouldn't have happened. thanks in advance!

rescue remedy-for shock, etc...
garlic-for infections, tx.
rope-never know when you will have to catch or tie something
squirt bottle
needles, syringes, vaccines, etc...
alcohol & cleansing cloths
this one is really goofy, but I swear by it: tampons! -they work like a very lg. Q-tip for cleaning wounds
vet wrap
phone #'s
sterile gloves

Just FYI> coffee and metamucil really help fo horses with colic (which they can get if they have to much feed). I have no idea how it would work with goats and I know that they can be pretty touchy, but it might be something to ask about
