They'll be cute one they unfold....only about an hr or so there. BUT ya know pic rules.
Ya know, I've always had a LOT of white kids with the Saanen but, this one buck is cookie cutter brown. Lot of white boots but, also heavy doe producer. Good!
Always conformation but color is first thing you see at birth so commented on that. It takes a couple weeks to begin assessment, once they unfold. Then you start with harder look. I'm not wanting to increase numbers, just value the kids for replacements and sales avenues -- meat market or breeders. It's a commercial herd primarily, although these are registerable Boer. Some I do the papers. Always important to watch what is strong that is consistently produced. Good legs, feet, long back, good weight -- whatever. Makes for better outcome & crosses.
Spent years with registries & shows for horses, donks & goats. Not wanting all that now. Still selective for what is and produces best but, not stressing over best in show. I'm packing trophies from national champions this year-- tired of looking at & dusting off. My stage in life. Enjoyment.
