Cooper has been busy. Out of 12 ewes, only 3 more to go. Nora, Aerial and Fancy.

Lots of lambs this year for you. Hopefully at least half will be rams to sell. And the other half exceptional registerable ewe lambs!

Granny, P15 of Texas Five Dorper fame, is due December 4. She has quite the baby bump going on. She is getting so wide!

I had a hard time getting a front view, she kept walking to me to be petted.

Not after a few months with Bay - she enchants them with treats and petting! Can't wait to see her babies. Looks like she shed well too, crossed with a Katahdin you should get sheep with a complete shed.

It occurs to me that I should hire Bay to tame all mine down when we come to Texas!

They were wild, 2 are still not real trusting, but at least not bat-sh!t crazy like they were. Those two like me well enough when I have treats! Granny loves to be petted. I named her Granny because she has this sweet, little old lady face. With that big belly, she is really into tummy rubs. Pictures never seem to capture just how wide ewes get before they lamb, Granny looks like a bulldozer with the blade down.

3 of the Texas Five are bred, the other 2 are due in December also. I’m so excited to see their babies! The other 2 will be bred in the spring. The youngest will be a year old in March.
