I have 2 Boer does who look like tanks! Right with you on stealth watch. At least I'm home for almost 2 wks. I guess it's what retired feels like -- home watching the world go by. Weather looking great for at least a week, I'm encouraging them to pop.

Nope. Didn’t domino during the storm. Sunny tomorrow, Saturday more rain then 7 days of sunshine. Lows in 30’s, cold but sunny during day. Perfect.

Unless of course they lamb tonight in a mud puddle.

Ginger, a FF, had a single ewe lamb yesterday morning. I moved them to a small pen where they could be together with no “help” from the ewe crew. LOL

A Quick Look outside and I believe there are some new lambs out there. I’m gonna finish my coffee, get dressed and go see.

2 sets of twins last night. Easter, born Easter morning, her mom was born on New Year’s Eve, appropriately named Eve, from Miranda, has likewise chosen New Year’s Eve to lamb. Looks like boy/girl. Boy will be castrated and added to freezer pack to grow out. Girl will stay.

Eve was given to my neighbor Chase for all the help he has given me.

Name for girl? Must have something to do with New Year’s Eve!

Nora, triplet daughter of Miranda, looks like boy/girl. Same as above, boy named Dinner, girl name is up for grabs.

Got new moms and babies separated, got to get them a water bucket.

Going for water, then scrapie tags and CDT shots for 5 lambs.
