He is yours! He is 87.5% and will be eligible for full registration at a year old. But you will probably have to wait until he’s a year and a half. At one year, it will be January, he will be all fluffy!

I like Gala, I had 3 ewe lambs born on New Year’s Eve. One boy, Dinner.

Instead of Dinner you can name him Ball Drop.

This was Ewenique yesterday. I thought for sure I’d see babies this morning. Nope. I keep looking out in the field to see if she is down giving birth. Nope.

11 years old. Life expectancy for sheep is 10-12 years. I’d say the old girl is doing just fine.

@Margali the black ram you want is the 5th generation from Ewenique. Fancy is double bred old Ringo and the little rams dad is Cooper. And so is the ewe lamb, I’m excited for both of them.

All of Ewenique’s descendants are good mothers, calm easy keepers. I like the longevity and production that Ewenique is showing.

Love her udder attachments and holding up wo well at that age. She is a really good foundation ewe.
