Baymule’s 2025 Lambing

Ewenique is limping again. She was limping several weeks ago. Nothing wrong that i could find, but heat in her upper leg. All I could figure was that she pulled a muscle or something. I kept her penned for several days until she wasn’t limping any more. So now she is limping again and lays down a lot.

She was due Christmas Eve. So if that breeding didn’t take, she could have cycled again 17 days later. Maybe new due date is the 10th on Friday? Or maybe not?

Ewenique has a sense of humor and likes watching you watching her! LOL

Ewenique was in the night lot laying down awhile ago, the flock was out on the field. So I closed the gate. Using feed, I moved Ewenique to the small pen where Fancy and her lambs are. Ewenique can have her babies there. She is still limping so this will help her leg too.

She may actually have them tonight. Her flanks are sunken and hollow.
