I caught this family group. It’s Ewenique with a daughter, great great granddaughters and lambs, a great great great granddaughter and grandson.

Beautiful picture! Ewenique has certainly left her mark on her lambs!
Ewenique has longevity and production at 11 years old. She has had twins every year. Her descendants should follow in her hoof prints, that’s important on small homesteads where breeding stock becomes beloved pets. ❤️

I worked sheep this morning. I sorted the middle field and wormed a few. Then the front field and turned out ewes with their lambs on the middle field and wormed a few. I ran the ewes back to the front field with the ones I sorted out .

Then I wrecked out some lumber, carried it to the front yard, dragged in a cow panel and 2 hog panels. I got the hoop panels in the frame.

I’m tired!

:th😵‍💫 Exhausted more like!

Ok I’m exhausted now. Just finished unloading a super bag, 1100 pounds of feed. I scoop it into buckets, then dump in metal trash cans. It’s a cool 76F but I broke a sweat. Tired.

Beauty FF had a single ewe lamb this morning. This lamb is from Rocky. Beauty is 87.5% but at a year old still had baby fuzz. Then she put on her winter wool. And yes, I’m keeping her lamb. Beauty is great great granddaughter to Ewenique.
