Stress causes the meat to be tough and not good. When we bought from the Youth Fair I went tot he judging and took notes on the animals. We always chose a steer that was calm and docile, and sometimes "over conditioned" (too fat) for the tastiest meat. LOLWith all the stress she’s in, I don’t think the meat would be very good, but I’ll let them be the judge of that.
Hopefully the ewe will retain the prolapse at least until she gives birth. Congratulations to Dr. Dana for taking what she learned from Sage hill and applying it. That is what this forum is so wonderful at doing - helping others! As well as just giving all of us a lot of fun and friends.
