Best treats for sheep?

Grass, hay pellets. Hay cubes split into very thin slivers.
Make sure w/e you use doesn't have copper.

Citrus peels! Really? I have never offered them to my sheep. We don't have any citrus trees, just the occasional lemon, lime or oranges. I'll have to try and see if the sheep like citrus.

The owners of the barn that I used to lease used one of the paddocks for a wedding reception. Apparently at the end of the night when they were cleaning up, they just dumped any leftover drinks on the ground. My horses had a field day cleaning up the boozy citrus from the drinks!

Mine get Animal Crackers but not all of them will try them. A friend of ours uses Fig Newtons and they all will fight over those.

I would never feed fig newtons to my sheep and I'm having a hard time not eating up all their animal crackers... since both are favorites of mine!! They sure make my skittish wethers more approachable!
