Do it, Do it, Do it! 😁
But I want a dog, too. One that can work with livestock.

Several years ago I fell in love with this breed, Lancashire Heeler. They're described as cattle dogs. I've been in contact with a breeder here in NC. She will watch for a puppy or juvenile that isn't good enough for breeding, will let me buy cheap.

And yes, they "do" sheep. And goats.

Wonder if they work like an Australian Cattle Dog. Can't say that I've seen one of these in any of the herding trials I've judged or competed in.

They're heelers, not like collies, but more like corgis.

Old breed, new to the USA. Just accepted to the AKC last year.

There are those lambs that just stop you in your tracks when they are just hours old. That side view of the ram lamb clinches it. He has what I call “IT”. I believe he will grow out well and make someone a very fine flock sire. Need more pictures of Daphne!
Yes!! When I saw that pic later I went WOW. If he was registerable I'd be tempted to keep him. 😂 Daphne is still unfolding, plus it's cold. I'm going to get more pics tomorrow in the sunshine with everyone on fresh pasture!

Get both then. 😁
