Your does really outdid themselves, presenting you with so many does! Will you keep them?
They really did! I'm keeping two of the triplets! Their mom is my best Nigerian. They are looking gorgeous already and my little sister and I decided we're getting into showing, so they'll be our little show goats.

Y’all will have fun! Your little sister is a natural with animals. Showing will be awesome for her but even better for you because you get to spend time with your sister.
Yes! I think it will be a great way to bond. I got us a book about showing dairy goats and we're going to read it together over the summer as we train the goats together.

Congratulations on all the cute kids... and on you dealing with the breech birth.... I am impressed that you were able to help her out with only having book knowledge to get them delivered... all live too...
That's wonderful about you wanting to show a couple with your sister... very very wonderful...

First lambs on the ground! Twin ram lambs from first time momma Valentine. She had both out and cleaned and nursed by the time I got back from Bible study last night! Moses was a good boy and watched over them for me. I have no idea how she fit two big ram lambs in there, she's tiny. 😂 Her udder is even tinier. I'm going to try to train the boys to a bottle so I can supplement them because I seriously doubt she has enough to feed one baby well, let alone two big rams. But at the same time I don't want a bottle baby. So we'll try it.
Without further ado, pictures!

Thank you! The Lord helped me through it and I have a great emotional support team here. 😁

Well it looks like either the flushing last fall really worked or my new ram is really fertile (or both). Eden, also a first timer, had huge ram/ewe twins this morning! I don't usually get twins from first timers.
She wasn't too sure about the weird slimy thing that came out of her at first, but after I helped the ewe lamb latch and she started suckling, it was like a switch kicked on and Eden immediately started talking to it and nudging it towards the teat. The next lamb was backwards but she got him out and cleaned him off like a pro. They are all doing really well, and Eden has plenty of milk like her mom.

Ewe lamb has cute eye patches and brown spots and the ram lamb is LOUD. Even the picture of him is loud. 😂 Ewe lamb is staying here for sure!
