Uno is cute :) You're right, the bathtub shouldn't be drafty at all. Some of my bottle pigs have done well with the bowl, but others insist on the bottle. Let us know how he does.

Wrap an old school wind up alarm clock in a towel and put it next to him to imitate another critter. I raised a single pig in the office here at the house and had her in a playpen full of hay. She stayed warm and took her milk from a bowl. Baby pigs are messy when they eat but keep trying and yours will get the idea about how that eating thing works. ;)

:D Didn't M.L. say old school alarm clock, not white noise machine?

We had good luck with your standard old stuffed animal. Even a balled up rag seems to work, as long as it's around their size. Ours assumed it was alive without the "heartbeat" imitator, she was that desperate for a friend.

I gave my little pig a stuffed animal and she ripped its head off, she shook the stuffing out of it just like one of the dogs.

What a cute little piggy!!!! Sooooooooo....when Uno grows up...what will happen to Uno? No way you are going to eat this one after all the work and care you've done raising the little one....this would be my fear with a bottle piggy...I would have a big pig pet...LOL

Put a harness on your pig and walk him, introduce him to your dogs and in time he'll come when you whistle. A big dog is one thing but NOTHING will mess with anyone with a 400lb pig.

Wow, lol that is kind of a hard question to answer but, My oldest is saying she wants to use him as a show pig for FFA . After that i don't know.... i would really would not have the heart to eat him myself but we can't keep him, we sell butcher pigs to several ppl and he might end up that way or go to market. It kind of makes me sad but it is not like raising him for nothing we will get money to help with our income.
