Hi! I am thrilled to find this website of knowledge! I am new to goats, brought home 3 ND siblings last month. I had a set of twins, and a half sister that are now almost 4 months old.
Sadly, the little buckling had a choking issue (he was a little piggy) and then developed bloat. Unfortunately, there is no vet in our immediate area. After the 2 hour drive to the vet, he sadly passed away.
So, we are now left with 2 little darlings. I will be picking up the new additions on Wednesday night! They are a Mum and 2 one year old twins. Mum is still nursing? I thought they were weaned long before this time???
Sorry for the long post. Any tips to introduce the new goats into our goat family of 2?
Thanks, Nicole
