Smiley Crazy
Hey Ya'll! (Hope this is in the right place)
I want to breed my doe Kisses again so that I can milk again! (If this is would help, Kisses is 3-4)
The problem is that the last time I freshened her, I had to dry her up because of a bite on her teat.
I had brought her to the vet because I was milking her and felt a little bump on her teat. The Vet said it was a bug bite,
and said it would heal. I had been milking her for a long time so I decided to let her dry her up so that
the bite could heal. It did, and a few months later I found the same little bump on her teat. Kisses does have a habit of biting that teat, so the bump gets bigger and redder.
I tried a natural mix of honey and corn starch to heal the bite (I think it is), and it healed up. Now I want to milk her again, but I'm worried the bump will come back because sometimes when she wanted to be milked she tugged on the teat. What should I do?
