Sorry I kinda forgot about this thread, but we have 2 cows left to calve still which is annoying BUT, our biggest cow had twin heifers! The first healthy twins we’ve had in like 15 years! It took them a few days to figure it out, she was very confused and would kinda forget that she had 2, but once we brought it to her she’d remember. But now they’ve got it!
(Sorry for the bad quality, I took it at like 5 am)
I really wanted to weigh them, but they’re now over a week old so…
Hi everyone, how have y’all been?
I bought a cow and calf! The mother is a nice, quiet speckle park. The calf was just born on Friday, a black heifer. So it is a little weird, but this heifer wasn’t supposed to calve this year, but a bull got in with her. So the plan is just to wait until next summer to rebreed her, to get her back on track, and I’ll just have a really big calf at weaning. They’ll come home sometime in the next couple days!
