I've deactivated ads until we figure out why they aren't limiting based on usergroup.

We really do appreciate everything you guys do, change is just always hard. It would be really nice to get our banner back like BYH spirit, BYH family, etc. They were colorful and added something nice.

I prefer a bit larger size on the avtar pic....since most are known and recognized by their pic, it would be nice if they were larger, but do like the circle format. I only use my phone and I do have trifocals, but the print and pics are pretty small on a phone. I can expand it, but then ya have to move back and forth to read more than a sentence and the buttons are so close ya are always touching something and when it is an ad it is a constant in back paging to escape the ad link. I know I'm a minority, but wanted to throw it out there. I do agree with the others on thanking you for all that ya do in providing the site for us, and by the time ya get to the upper age bracket ya better be used to change and figuring it out, or get left behind. This is meant as constructive criticism and not anything malicious at all. I know feedback is important to have for "fine tuning" it. Thanks to all for the difficult undertaking and "thick skin"....

I think we've got the advertising situation sorted out!

• GHM's will still see no ads.
• Members will see fewer ads.

I was off line during the upgrade but seem to be having problems with the new format. It doesn't upload as fast as I type, and sometimes closes out. Also I have been having problems with the forum freezing. I also liked having the imogees stay up below my posting while I as typing now I have to select the imogees icon each time, then scroll back to the bottom of the post to find where I want to out them.

Maybe I just need to get used to the upgrade. My friend said he will help me set up a gmail account which he assures me is better than aol. On the other hand he also wants me to switch to a mac. I really don't like change once I have mastered something. Of course, when it comes to computers and me "mastered is as debatable term! LOL I posted on another forum but the postings reacted this way so I finally abandoned them (also not as much fun as you guys!).

Keep up the good work - I'll learn!

I still can't open anything on the top of my bar, no more use of happy face s or anything....(insert sad face here)

That's kind of weird what platform are you using? I'm pc with google chrome and no problems with top bar.

I am using the same as you are......, but my bar won't work since last week, it worked at first with the new format, then when we started getting the pop up ads and they fixed that for golden herd members, the ad's went away but my bar won't work.....

Found the problem....last button on top puts the control bar off or on....mine was off

Switching operating systems can be a real PITA. I had to use Windows when I worked, have had Macs at home for 20+ years and prefer that OS to Bill's OS.
