The skin on the back of my calfs ears appears to be peeling off. Any idea of what this could be? She had it when I got her a month ago and as she has grown it has gotten a bit worse. I'll have to try to get a picture.

Is it crusty and circular? Sounds like it might be ringworm, but pictures would help.

Could be photosensitivity problems. Is the hair white where the skin is peeling? Get him in a dark place ASAP and get the vet out to look at him.

It is not white. The skin is just peeling off hair and all. She is in a wooded area in an old dog lot. About half of the area is covered with a carport. I tried to get some pics. Forgot to put the camera in macro. So they are a bit blurry. I'll try to get better ones tomorrow.

Here is one for today

Here is one from last week that I took with my phone. You can see that more skin is gone since this picture was taken.

I've never seen anything like this. It looks like there is more dead/dying skin proximal to the head and even on the head. It does not look like ringworm. Call a vet.

Is it possible she has lice or bug bites and is scratching on something in the lot? Scratching to the point where she sratches the hair off or gets the ear caught in something to pull the skin? It looks like an injury.
Has she been wormed recently... or at all?
Where are you located: are there bugs?

I haven't seen her scratching it. It is the bottom edge of the backside of her ears. So a hard spot to scratch. I got her at about 4 weeks old and she is now about 9 weeks or so. She hasn't been wormed that I know of. I know he gave her some antibiotics and stuff when he first got her at 7-10 days old.

I plan to get the vet out on Wednesday. I'm debating on trying an antifungal or antibiotic cream in the mean time.

I believe the black areas on her head are just her coloring as her eyes have always had black around them and it is now appearing around her nose.

Nope, doesn't look like ringworm. I'd call a vet too.
