I have to agree they were probably 10-20 days early. Hard to say by looking but they had hair but no teeth. Don't blame yourself, lots of things happen. I would give some Pen-G to the momma, dry her off and rebreed her when she is in good condition again.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the conversation here.

The 10-20 days would make sense, as the boys chased her around a little bit a couple weeks after the other girls. but I never saw her stand for them. I just can't get over never seeing a symptom to everything happening in a matter of an hour and a half.

Since we milked her the day this was found, she's had no other milk production. I check (and boy that's a fight), but there's nothing in there.
