2:30am Monday the 23rd
Finished the last roll of the special order. Changed out 800 or so 10lb rolls - trial fiber down & packed away, regular fiber hung & spliced in (3 of us working) and are now 'down' for the night. Which is a very good thing because EVERYTHING hurts.
A couple of weeks ago I volunteered to work Mon night/ Tues am with C shift. I hate myself for that now. (Lol.... kinda)

Phone says it's 19° at home. I forgot to leave water dripping. Hoping all will be well when I get home.

As of yesterday evening, still no heat cycle bellowing from Eva. Fence is holding its charge perfectly.

I still have 1 small gift to find & haven't wrapped anything yet. At this point... I'll be wrapping Christmas Eve.... or maybe Christmas morning. 🙄
I wonder how it'll go over if I just put everything in white trash bags with a red bow.... It's all for adults (my sis, her hubby our Dad)

Looking forward to starting the 2025 thread. Goodness..... what will THAT year be like 😱

One thing to do on the real cold nights... leave your cabinet doors open where there are any pipes... it really helps to prevent freezing as the air circulates through them.... yes, dripping faucets is a good way... but keeping the pipes exposed to the "warmer " air temps from the house really helps too.
