I was at the feed store this AM getting chicken stuff & decided to pop over to the horse meds isle. They had a little bottle of DMSO gel.
After I got home I put some on my knee & foot - after a shift in the creel, both were killing me.
I didn't notice much difference.
I coated them both again this evening before heading in. Still, not a huge difference.
Maybe it's a cumulative effect???

Could be the purity/strength. Sometimes it takes more time. My brother claims it's not doing anything for him, but he uses the roll on, once.

You already bought it, so keep using for another week and tell us if any change. Agree purity & strength matter but, sometimes the product has to "get to" the problem. Like aspirin, swallowing one isn't instant relief.

I think I posted previously about my arch itch, left foot arch was itching internally, for months. I rubbed a little DMSO into the area. I think it got warm for a while immediately afterwards, then went away. Rubbed in a little DMSO daily, then one day it itched again and I felt a pea-sized lump under the surface, deeper than skin. I rubbed a little more DMSO on the area. The next day the "cyst" was gone, as was the itch. Hasn't come back. I think the DMSO brought a cyst to the surface, then dissipated it.

Anecdotal, but still something to consider.

I'm totally going to keep using it.
I've got this bottle of gel & a roll-on on the way. Even if it doesn't do a lot for my pain, there are a lot of potential systematic benefits that are possible, but take time.

I watched a video a few days ago where a lady was canning whole birds. She gets a bunch of 2-3lb birds from a grower. She stuffed them whole into 1/2 gal jars with carrots, onion & celery.
Looked cool enough.... but I couldn't figure what she would do with it later. Maybe strain to be broth & pick what meat she could out of the bones??

I canned some bone-in chicken thighs last fall. The meat was yummy, but I hated how the bones had partially disintegrated and were difficult to pick out. I can just imagine how much worse it would be with a whole chicken. So I plan to only can boneless meat going forward. (Besides, half gallon canning jars are expensive!)

The commute is usually about 20mins, it took her nearly an hour to get home. I'm hoping that over night & all day today they will get the main roads & highways in good shape.
@Mini Horses , @farmerjan & @Finnie , I've been worrying about yall. What we got is mostly a fine powdery, but very packable snow. How did yall do?

I think perhaps you meant to tag fuzzi, not me. We only got about an inch or so. It didn’t affect our roads, but the wind sure kept drifting the powdery snow into the tire tracks in our driveway and filling them up that whole day.

And yeah, like the rest of you, we had unusually cold temps last week and unusually warm ones are predicted for next week.

That's only way for me -- boneless! So I buy primarily that way. White meat. I'm buying split breast on sale this week. I'll fillet the meat off, stew skin & bone into broth, strain then give cats the bones/skin, etc. They love it & I get lots of ready food.

Yeah, I've got about 5 dz of those jars -- bought because I keep goat milk in them. Machine fixed to milk direct into them. Keep some dry goods in a few, never canned in them. Felt too much at use. For big family might be ok. Pickles ok

Canned bones in the chicken makes good treats to put over dog food. I can chicken with bones for my dogs. Or o cook the bones down in the crock pot until they crumble.
