She's more than special! She's "family" forever. 
So, I've just been all weepy from gratitude for the past couple days.
My friend Carmen - helped me get into chickens, taught me to can, encouraged me through all the cow ups & downs, taught me to process chickens & to make bread, helped me build a safe & secure pen for Birdie, helped me out while I was out of work AND helped me get on with this company - Friday morning was her last day working here.
I was waiting for her to call & let me know that she was done & heading to Lowe's so we could meet up & look at washers when she pulled into the driveway with a new washer in the back of her truck.!!!!
She's just one of those people.
I'm going to miss her terribly here.
