Herd Master
In some ways Bruce thats a blessing mine learned to go into the old garden and at first they would go for bugs but over time they learned to eat all my produce. Even unripe melons.
I’ve put pigs in the garden, they did a great job. I actually have a coop in my garden. But there’s a problem. Hawks. They land on the gate post and screech at the chickens. So my great idea of letting the chickens till the garden was a bust. LOLFor a no till garden, put chickens in there for a month before you want to plant.
A bunch of chickens = no grass and no roots. Also, very few grubs left.
I put fishnet over the top to keep out hawks.I’ve put pigs in the garden, they did a great job. I actually have a coop in my garden. But there’s a problem. Hawks. They land on the gate post and screech at the chickens. So my great idea of letting the chickens till the garden was a bust. LOL
Often that's my case. The only good thing is it ensures I get off my duff and do it instead of procrastinating or getting distracted and doing something else.Dontcha love it when "help" is almost more trouble than it's worth?
Hope it all goes better than you even dare to hope!
