Good morning -- raining steady but slow. Warm. Overcast. Dreary. Having coffee and a lot of lights on! 
. It's here for the entire day...wetness. No one has ventured out of barns yet. Gonna be a long day.
Had TV news on -- how depressing. Wars, supply chains disrupted, US/Mexico border crossings at 8-10K a day. Shelters overfull - NY, IL, TX...
... No resolve in sight.
Makes me appreciate my goat escapes as such a minor problem! So thankful to have a home, food, conveniences. Praying it stays that way. We all need to count our blessings as another new year approaches.

My cold is almost over. Hurrah!
Kid 3 is coming back for the weekend.
Guest child is happy with us...
Bride-to-be is happy with us...
Everything is going well.
We do need to do a better job with cleaning... we cleaned a BUNCH, but kid 3's asthma does still kick up when he comes home.
The boy's room is pretty nasty.

Coffee is ready! Going to Conroe this morning to pick up 16 year old. Will have lunch with my sister, take little girls to skate rink, pick up 16 YO and come home.

@Baymule glad your having a few days of grandma fun -- a real Christmas gift!
Rains are gone but clouds still here things are wet, can't dry up. Gotta deal with it.

I've had a weak older battery in my car that I kept saying to self, get a new one!! Yesterday I got that done. About the only accomplishment for the day.
They even install them now. 
For the cost of those rascals now, they need to do it!!!
Speaking of battery costs...those electric cars?? Man, that's like buying a new car. No way for me. I can add a room on my house for less.
Bought a little, half off, cheapo greenhouse to put on back porch for plant starts. Yeah, some pre cut tubing & big, fitted plastic sack, 4 plastic shelves. But, it will get enough sun to heat it -- I can use one of my heat lamps if needed on bad nights -- and keeps the stuff out of my house. It'll work right now. Will be time soon to start up some of the cool weather plants real soon. Have all the potting soil, plant trays, etc. got those for 90% off at a couple of the dollar stores I work, late summer. Anyway, got text it shipped. So I'll get it put together next week. I will have a garden this year! Sooo many canning jars to fill. More seeds here than Walmart

My PSA --- OTC meds
We know in June, things stopped! Suppliers could sell out stock on hand thru 12/31. Valley vet sent txt of penn & oxy, Today, Tomorrow, plus some others, that can ship OTC!!! SO, if you need it you've got 3 days.
And...fish meds can be had from only a few with any now. That loophole was discovered by feds.
Need some of those let me know, I just ordered a couple bottles more. We all know about midnight on a holiday weekend. God love a good vet but, not always an option.
