That trailer load looks like a mattress on the car roof an accident waiting for a place to happen. Just waaay worse.

Usual cool morning. Coffee just finished brew, so having some before chores. Weather says a little bit of rain the night into Wed. Light dousing. That's fine. Working all week- surprise.

I've seen a mattress transported on a car roof being held on by passengers putting their hands out the windows and holding on...

Waiting on thunderstorms. I’m glad they’re daytime storms so I can see where Moses shelters, barn or doghouse. I’m testing my weather radios too. Barn winterizing nearly done, round bales distributed in the pasture (with care). I’m glad to be caught up with Hubb’s help. Three years living here we are about done shaking down and have pretty solid routines.

Coffee is ready. No rain in the forecast but it is getting cold. Temperatures are supposed to drop on the 30’s Thursday. Sunny for next 10 days, will warm back upto highs in 60s and 70s.
It’s still dark, I’ll go out to do battle with Granny in a little bit. At least it’s not raining. Stupid witch. Been looking at how to build a head gate, might make one today.

Been up about an hour - first cup down. Cooler here too - 57 at wake-up. Two inches of rain in two days. We've had enough now!

Today is the second of three doc appts for DH this week. Ugh - just want to get them behind us.

Grandson's 18th b'day today. Look out world!

Yeah I have been contemplating buying a light bar for the truck since if it isn't blizzards it's deer, antelope, cows, horses and elk to watch out for.

I have a light bar on the front of my truck. I seldom drive at night and I have to be on a road with little to no oncoming traffic because it will blind people. It sure does light up the world! I keep my finger on the toggle switch to turn it off fast when I see headlights.
