Most all large dairies are confinement operations...
If I understand? meds are being pushed to control gases in a ruminant’s belly? What folly. Aren’t they built to baaarrrromph out of one end or the other? Volcanic activity could wildly out pace any animal based emissions. Honest to bog what’s wrong with people?
I fully agree! If I understand? meds are being pushed to control gases in a ruminant’s belly? What folly. Aren’t they built to baaarrrromph out of one end or the other? Volcanic activity could wildly out pace any animal based emissions. Honest to bog what’s wrong with people?
Yeah! We had a neighbor that had buffalo on the ranch next to ours. I had just moved back to the family ranch from Oregon and was sitting at a table in the big house, which sat on a hill overlooking a small lake. Suddenly, I saw a bunch of buffalo running on the far side, the entire length of the lake and beyond, never wavering or slowing down. I knew there used to be cross fencing but assumed it had been removed. How about we just go back to the days of where the bison use to roam. Way more hardier animals. healthier meat, more uses than a cow and they were here first.
