They always have to FAFO. Never satisfied to leave what’s good and natural to do as intended, like breeding dairy cows to produce massive amounts of milk, changing the product so the casein is now difficult for much of the population to digest, or produce beef that packs on fat and muscle at increasing rates, so the quality of the meat is now often indicated in cholesterol problems and heart issues…there seems to always be fallout and collateral damage down the road… <rant over>

How about we just go back to the days of where the bison use to roam. Way more hardier animals. healthier meat, more uses than a cow and they were here first.

Yeah! We had a neighbor that had buffalo on the ranch next to ours. I had just moved back to the family ranch from Oregon and was sitting at a table in the big house, which sat on a hill overlooking a small lake. Suddenly, I saw a bunch of buffalo running on the far side, the entire length of the lake and beyond, never wavering or slowing down. I knew there used to be cross fencing but assumed it had been removed.
I went down to investigate and found t-posts, still wired, hanging in the oak trees.
Those are some POWERFUL animals!!

4:00 club, coffee is ready! Last I checked yesterday at 4:30 PM, it had rained 2 3/4” of rain. And it rained some more. I’m thinking I got 3” of rain if not a little more.

I would've made the 5 am club, but yesterdays afternoon caffeine kept me up until 1. Decided I could skip the gym and got up at 6:30. Now just trying to find the motivation to study.

Crazy idea, if we want to reduce emissions, maybe celebrities should fly private jets just a little less. Think that might make a real difference unlike getting rid of cows...

NFR is starting tonight, anyone else planning on watching?
