Had DS and DDIL over for dinner last night. Did the braised lamb shanks and fondant potatoes. We'll be going to their house for Christmas dinner and gave them full access to the lamb in the freeze. Should be tasty whatever they do - they're both good cooks.
I got one of those fancy rolling pins - mostly because this one is just too cute. There's a learning curve (of course) and while you can see the sheep in these, a lot of them disappeared when they puffed up in the oven. Then, because I can't for the life of me gauge the thickness of the dough I roll out I had to get another rolling pin with thickness guides - ah yeah - 4mm thickness - damn thin. Still going to give it a few more goes as they do taste good.

While I was thinking I needed a couple more flannel shirts, I discovered "club points" were sitting in waiting. Didn't even know I had those -- earned from previous expenditures 🫣. Figured out how to use and have 2 new shirts coming, already pd for 😂 a bonus for sure. Thks Cabela's...they weren't cheap! And now I still don't owe you. 👍 My treat to me.

This is what we do to shop, internet, 😉. Speaking of which, I now need to return a bag of moldy feed I found as I was unloading yesterdays truckload into feed barrels. 😖 If they ever add "unload at home" to their services, I'm all in!! Hate to drive back but at costs of feed, I sure will! Lunch over, better get out.
