Actually, I too order double covered, but didn't feel that was necessary to say in my post Used to order the (NY strip) steak & eggs, then changed over to the pork chops, then they turned the pork chops into pork chips (so thin they were like potato chips) so they wouldn't have to raise the price, so stopped ordering that for a while. Over the past decade or so, I guess they've had a hard time finding good cooks... Seems my meat is either over cooked or under. I even try to talk directly to the cook to let him/her know how I want the meat cooked. When they get it right, I've actually started tipping the cook. When I do, it generally catches them completely off guard. Guess that doesn't happen too often.No way! LOL I'm scattered, smothered, double-covered and chunked
I have had cold (cooked) oatmeal before... sorry, I prefer it warm.
