Angels of Assisi do spays and such and are much more reasonable... I had my cat done for $100... cash up front... and dogs were $150.... they picked them up at the SPCA ... there were 17 of us that morning to meet their transport van. at 7 am..... wonderful, nice people to talk to .... and picked them up that afternoon at about 4 or so.... do this once a month here.... don't know if that is available there... But they have a good reputation and are more reasonably priced.
So sorry it is so expensive... and the surgery looking at you.... WOW:ep:ep:hit:hit:hit:hit:th

Throw a num chuck for your son. Hopefully you can hit him in the head and knock some sense into him. I’m really sorry about the multiple fractures on your dog. $7000 is a hard kick in the finances. Maverick is only 2, so he has years to prove to you how valuable he is. Gheesh, we do everything we can for our pets don’t we.

Happy mid morning. Back on the porch after a walkabout in the pasture, since it’s warm already. Caddo (aloHA!) has already retired to his cavern under the red shed. Sheep haven’t left safe pen yet. I need to get in better shape in preparation for new dog(s). We chose one from Rescue but (wait for it) we can’t get him until he’s neutered. Vet that does the neutering isn’t available for six weeks. We offered to have it done and pay for it, but no response. We inquired about another dog, older, ready to go and no response. Rescue is fundraising so could be busy but all things considered…. I’m still looking around but haven’t found a fit. I have learned about obscure LGD breeds. Romanian shepherds, Kuvasz, other Eastern European breeds. So it goes.
