Coffee is ready! I gotta go to Crockett today and run errands. Sentry is still in the house, in dog crate. Carson is still nervous and won’t lay in the living room floor, it’s too close to Sentry. I put Carson’s bed in the dining area, he can see me from there.

Having morning wake ups... start of 12 days of no jobs, right now at least. Hmmm. Wet & overcast is not a great start. It feels sluggish. Prob will be a slow day. Need to call and make dental appt for a crown, vision/new glasses appt. Yeah, get it done on this year's med plan. Use up my OTC allowance, too. Nice things to handle. Few phone calls, a slack day. Goat auction this Saturday, get things lined up for that . Guess it's a planning day.

Plan to refill my cup right now.

@Alaskan No pain, just old teeth chipping off. 2 to get done. One now, one after first of year....insurance $ pays. Might do both this yr, depends on dental charges.

I need eye exam and new glasses, I'm certain. Again, insurance $$. So no big deal, just don't keep waiting and lose this year's allowance for these things. Only things I use on insurance and I pay for monthly (Medicare advantage plan). I want my money's worth for such things. Thankfully never sick or injured, so glad for that.

They don't allow mail-order buys. Gotta use from their groups. It's all good!

Good news---

But the union representing the striking U.S. dockworkers, the International Longshoremen’s Association, reached a deal Thursday to suspend the strike until Jan. 15 to provide time to negotiate a new contract. The union’s members will resume working immediately at least until January.

Body woke at 4am. . Have an 8am appt...guess I can be on time. until then, I'll get a load of clothes washing, empty dishwasher, etc. I'm hungry now, need breakfast.

Coffee is ready. I let Sentry out in front yard, opened gate for Buford, Cooper and his girls and opened gate for Sheba, Little Ringo and his girls. Carson accompanied me on my rounds. Then back to house for coffee.
Yesterday I went to Atwoods and bought blue jeans. No, not the $149 jeans with fancy pockets, or the $189 even fancier, faded jeans, not even the plain Wranglers for $50, but “their” brand, Real Ranch. They don’t come in ladies, so I bought men’s jeans. Cost $12 for 100% cotton jeans. The sizes are kinda “off” so I tried on every pair for fit. I bought 4 pair for $51. They have been washed, hung on the clothes line, folded and put away. They will make good farm jeans.

I got pigs outside, I see them in the morning when I feed them and that's about it. Though I get weekend visitations too, I haven't really seen them lately.
Don't know how much they weigh, but they are starting to look like roly polies falling over from the holes to China they dug as they fall in them.
