42* here and sunny - but but but............ a whopping --- and I DO mean whopping 1/4 inch in the rain gauge!
Will feed the sheep heavy this morning because I'll be gone to my friend's 80th BDay Bash. DH is hurting from a fall (nothing broken) a couple weeks ago and a mass of ewes and lambs isn't something he can handle to feed.

42* that's winter....that's what I woke to this morn. They're saying 35 tonight 😱😵‍💫 not, not liking that. I've been trying to make sleep patterns more routine by stable to bed & up times -- easier in winter when it's dark at 6 pm. Summer I can work in daylight until 9pm!! It's all so hard on my system 😭 6am is alarm time, so I'm on 2nd cup now😁

Found another hen has started back laying...four eggs in found nest yesterday 👍 still 2 more to find! I know they're laying somewhere!!! 😖 That's 5 back from molt.

Hope DS to get the new brake pads on front wheels of car today...truck next, need to go buy those. Inspections due this month, so checking everything. Need to make appointment for set of tires & alignment on truck🤷🤔 does it ever end?

Sun is bright. Heading to low 60s for the day. Normal for this time of year. Got just a tad over 2" of rain between Thur & Fri, after 6 wks with NO rains. Good to get that. Not seeing more than a light sprinkle late in week -- for this month. Dry!
Unless you hit something hard or changed out parts i.e. tie rods, control arms, and such then no reason for alignment. If tires are wearing uneven you got worn parts that may or may not need alignment if replaced.
Alignments are right up there with you must change your oil if it has been in your vehicle for certain time frame, money making. Oil was in the ground for millions of years and suddenly it expires in a few months in your vehicle

Got a blizzard going on, so much for wanting to put differential back in since they didn't want to give me the one day I could of done it off.

We got rain, finally, about 2". But I think I am allergic, I get runny nose and sneezing fits whenever a weather front blows through. Weird, something riding in on the front? Go figure.

Chilly, sunny, so I went outside and "puttered". When they delivered propane this week they dragged the hose through the iris bed. I tried to fix it.

Before and after:

Oh, and I weeded, too.

I ran out of landscaping blocks, but I believe this will "do", for now.

It's probably your sinus cavities reacting to pressure & moisture.

Flower bed looks 👍
Thank you. The bed was created earlier this year. I transplanted into it some iris that haven't bloomed in years, probably due to not enough sun in their location, the tubers looked fine. The iris are already spreading in their new "digs", so hopefully I will have blooms this Spring!

Found some large turds in the pole barn in about 3 different piles, thought poor kitty as I thought it was ours. Went looking through video footage and what I thought was our cat doing strange things of drinking water with water based stain that had paint brushes soaking in and trying to get to the dog food wasn't our cat.
Not the best monitor for viewing cameras at 10 years old "updating soon" if look close enough can see the tortoise color. So last night we set a trap in the pole barn and it was like Monday night foozeball, just waiting for a touchdown of the trap closing behind it.
Kept going around it, then to other side of pole barn, drinking the tainted water instead of eating cat food. We took water away and put fresh water in with tuna and within a hour we had our touchdown. We lead such epic lives of watching cameras instead of TV.
What are we going to do with it I don't know. I shoved a blanket in and covered it with insulated blanket and this morning I'm going to release it in the hole in the pole barn.
Maybe before I feed it each day I can yell down "it rubs the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again." :gig

Had a good time at my friend's 80th Bday yesterday. Geeze most of the San Diego dogworld was there. Not surprising, but I didn't think of it that way until I kept meeting up with folks I haven't seen in ages. Like there wsa not time between the last time we'd seen all of us - picking up where we'd left off. TOO MUCH FOOD too!
And had to check out another friend's kunekune (the Pug of the pig world) -- easy keepers? don't wallow or root around? not too big? don't take much room? What is there not to like?? Seriously wondering/thinking of gettin one now. Tell me I shouldn't - help! I know nothing about pigs and their behavior.
