NO snow :celebrate it's surface wet out but 34* so not an issue. Still dark. Fed bottle kid short while ago. Barns reasonably warm 👍 no complaints.

Rain today and temps fall to low 20s, may still get a dusting tonight from temps. Ice on roads for those going to work tomorrow. End of this week we may get more.

They got 1.5-2" of snow, north 50-75 miles.

Now a second cup time 😁

This Awesome, I jumped on to read the "coffee" comments and it looks like you have a "community", lovely xx

Yes, definitely a community! Welcome to the coffee community!

I have coffee ready also honey and cream. Yummy stuff.

It 26F now, left faucets in house dripping when I went to bed. Will be a high of 43F and sunny today. Wind is 12 MPH with gusts to 28 MPH.

I’ll be out at daylight to see if lambs born last night. Ewenique looked ready to pop. At 11 years old, she’s an old pro and she takes good care of her babies.
This was yesterday afternoon.

Yeah, I tried to retire her, but she stood at the gate one morning yelling her head off. Standing right next to Rocky and Little Ringo, 2 young hotties, did she want them? No! She wanted Cooper. I opened the gate to the driveway, then gate to middle field lot, she ran through to lot gate onto field, where Cooper was waiting.
She is the last of the original 4 bred ewes BJ and I bought. Her descendants sprinkle my flock, all excellent mothers.
I’m not looking forward to “the day” either.

-5°F this morning and more snow :weee supposed to stop a day then come back a few days drop more for few days and that’s the forecast for next 10 days.
We can’t drip faucets here and even with heat tape and insulation wrapped lines they are frozen. Hauling 6 gallon jugs of water as needed upstairs.
