Three inches of rain yesterday. Warmer weather may get the grass growing. I have a mess of a flowerbed to work on this spring. Bermuda grass has taken it over. I let it go because of my knee but it’s better so now so the chickens have come home to roo… wait a minute… I could keep older chicks in that area. They would destroy the bermuda, drop
some needed fertilizer and feeding and care would be handy. Then fussing around with perennials could wait till fall. Hmm. Beats digging up bermuda. Unless you’re Sophie View attachment 114744

Awake at 4, back to sleep until after 7, guess I was tired.

Coffee went with me outside to do site work on the new hoop coop, see My Little Hoop Coop thread for more details.

Frank the tree guy came by, is going to remove the small trees, and stumps/roots of the trees that have been decaying under carpet for a couple years. I want to plant blueberry bushes again, the ones we planted about 15 years ago finally died. And a friend gave me an elderberry sapling, want to make a place for it and a companion. I believe they need at least two for pollination.

Emailed a fencing company recommended to me, hoping I can get someone to replace the fence that was destroyed by falling trees. There's only one tree left on that side of the property, and it looks healthy.

No alarms today and still awake before 6. Came home to Laramie last night and really enjoying being back.
Little chillier then most of you, but warmer then its been.
I got a Red Bull and Protein shake in hand, time to go run.
