@Baymule those fires were about 50 miles from me. But....they were only a few miles from one another.

They say, no evidence at this time. Pretty standard. But that city isn't dumb either! Just so coincidental. The goats breeders are broken, I'm sure. Their does were named, all tame, beautiful animals. Prob many were does & kids. I can't imagine the gut wrenching emotions they're experiencing.

Yawn.. stretch.. fart... Yep the snow has started, I put a 1700 lb concrete block on the back of my truck. I have a feeling I'm going to need it to get out of here and or fire the loader up and push my way out till I get to the main road. Once I hit the main I'm sure I will find someone stuck in a snow bank again, maybe the frequent flyer gal who is racking up points.
Every one inch on these reports means 1.5 to 2 inches that we get up here, so that translates from 12 inches minimum to 32 inches maximum.

Overcast this morning...not what I wanted. This from the north front needs to get on outta here. Fresh pot brewed and I'm having a lovely cup to wake me up. Slept late, got up groggy & did stretches to loosen up shoulders, back & legs. Geesh, stiffness comes with age 🤨 Out for chores in a few -- they'll just have to deal with my being a little slow today!

Hope it warms as they say, I have things to do out there. Back to work tomorrow, so need to get things done. Damp out from rains thur & Fri nights. Just over an inch total. I'm so ready for spring!!! :old :hu

@Weldman Maybe start having them sign a logbook agreeing the “Mr Weldman pulled me out free of cost”. It would be hilarious evidence for next time they complain about you fixing the road and how it isn’t needed.
Well the ones who are complaining aren't the ones I'm pulling out nor is it happening on the road I fixed. Believe me, if the ones complaining got stuck I will just drive around them or it would end up in a fight if I stopped and not from me initiating it.
Usually just early commuters trying to get to work and since the ones complaining don't work I don't see that predicament. Though if I came home and they blocked the road from being stuck there is ways around, just have to get a little creative off-road.
Court case has been settled, whine and complain all you want, the sheriff has a copy posted on their board along with the notification required by court dated a year from November of 2024 so they won't come out anymore. Plus as professional courtesy I call the sheriff up before I start. As for now the road is done and won't need anything for years to come if they would quit driving to each others place 4 plus times a day dragging clay from their schit holes clogging up the rock and burying it.
