Means I need to be able to actually get up and walk, so I can make it to kitchen. Hoping TheMan will wake up so I can beg.
He was up all night moaning because he burned his eyes welding. It’s hard to feel sorry for him when he refuses to use his (actually, mine that he stole) hood. I had the kind you can see through. There’s just no excuse.

I think I’m SOL on coffee today.

Potatoes cut in half placed over each eye and some ibuprofen. It's going to suck for a week or more. Auto darkening helmets are nice to an extent.

I've also seen potatoes work. My dad would grate them up so he could really get them packed in his "eye hollows." Is there actually a word for that area on either side of the nose where the eyes live?

I potatoe’d him last night. This isn’t his first time, more like his 100th. We used to own a little company that manufactured livestock panels. He and I and my son did all the cutting and welding, and he was a welder long before that so he knows better! Lucky for him we had exactly 1 potato in the house

It’s 1:19. I might be able to make it to the coffee maker. It’s certainly worth a shot!
Worrying about my friend…well, a woman I like. She hardly knows me but she’s my favorite dog breeder. She’s been going through so much. Her husband just recently had his leg amputated and keeps having to go back into hospital.
She bred Fen’s sister and I’m hoping for a pup, but I can’t bother her now. Maybe she’ll reach out after those who already had pups reserved are gone, if there’s any left then…

I was putting together a gift bag for a friend. After it was all done, it still looked a little sparce. I was trying to find something to top it off with when I came across a boxed collection of desert coffees.
Is it wrong that I bought the box of 48 kcups knowing that only about a dozen would fit in the gift??

Put a couple of them in a piece of tissue paper and tie with a thin ribbon... pretty and no one has to know they are part of a "larger set" ....
