Was awakened by a scam call at 6:15 a. The shrub on the other end got the full Vladina, angry Slovkian treatment complete with fairly authentic profanity. Amazing that I hold a technological marvel in my hand and use it to look up foul language in other languages. I use it for other things obviously so I suppose it levels out. Just don’t call me at 6am to hustle some non existent benefits. On the bright side I didn’t need coffee. Multiple 4 seasons days ahead. From 70 degrees to 17 and windy. And I’d just put away the long underwear.

Got a two day reprieve from the snow and on the way home last night it came back. From the one day that snow melted despite being only high of 19°F it turned everything to an ice rink. Truck slid off the driveway as if it was going on vacation, ended up in a ravine. Eh pays to have heavy equipment. Pulled it up so far then picked it up and set it back on the driveway, guess I need to fix that spot.
Going to toss the piggies another bale of hay today, they are going to love this.

Memorial Day is usually the start of summer here. Just never know how much “spring” we will have. It could start in March or it could wait til May

Same here, March heralds "spring". We just don't always get the same one

But I'm just looking forward to it anyway!!!

6:30 and just getting light. Roos are announcing it . Usual stuff going on -- hot coffee, bottles warming, heading out for chores soon. Balmy 58 put but wet grounds and more rain most all day, along with a lot of wind. Some days you just can't win.

Up at 6:30, feeling meh, scratchy throat, chills, not really sick but definitely under the weather. Decided to stay home in case I am contagious.
