Coffee anyone ?

The vultures are circling already so before everything gets lost in the wind in exchange for greed of monetary gain I’m going to try and grab the tractor to keep it in the family. Not much of a tractor, but it’s been around for decades and I like to keep it for a few more, put it to use too.
Hasn’t been used in so long as a hoarder of junk it’s actually blocked by structures built around it. The trailer it goes on is buried under junk and weeds too, but I can make it all move.

Those old Ford tractors were/are great all purpose ones. We have a 4600 that I use all the time raking and tedding... and a 6600 that has a front end loader that we have a spear on.... use it for moving round bales alot. They are fairly low to the ground, simple to operate... and just get the job done. Except for the old Farmall H, which is one of my favorites even if it is a "dinosaur"... the 4600 and 6600 's are my favorites...

Up early, did chores, went to work...evening feeding done. Nice. Some grasses growing and that sure helps to lower hay needs, about 1/3. I'll take it!

So, relaxing for the evening. I earned every minute . Home all weekend. Work Monday half day. Right now that's it but, no doubt that will change. I'll do another day or two max, this coming week. Slowing down as usual. I absolutely must start veggie seeds!!!! That's my goal for the weekend.

Got my coffee and headed out about 8:30am. I stopped at the nursery, dropped off the lawnmower for service, and checked for a bucket at Ace Hardware.

Now relaxing...the blueberry bushes have been side-dressed and mulched, several garden beds amended with compost and peat moss, clematis and tomatoes transplanted.

I'm ready for sleep...

Have a safe trip back home. I now understand why you are not interested in your “home town.” You went, finally your father made peace with you and that’s what you wanted. Your life is with the woman who shares your life in Montana.

It's decent, warm weather all weekend and I'm home. Wonder how that happened at the same time? It's good. Slow morning, just having coffee & catching up on posts. Plan to check on everyone, feed, water levels, etc, then come inside and look at seeds. Some will be planted for starts!!! Yes -- garden starts today. this is the relaxing part.
