Made my day! Won't mind kid -- just did what he was told not to....tried to go into goat pen, through electric fence. Talk about some screaming. Yep!! That's how my kids learned too. 🫨 Sneak out there again, right? Told him if he throws anything else into a field, he can't come back to farm. Slinging 2' lengths of 2x4 over the goat fence. Hit one in head & kill a kid, hurt an adult. Threw my food scoops. Grandkid of DS exGF. 😡 Totally bad situation from every angle :old he's no toddler.

No consistent discipline, or schedules for meals, bed, junk food all day. BAD parenting by all involved. 😵‍💫😤😣🙄😱:old:old

I'll get off the soapbox now :hide where's my lasso?

It is so sad because the kid is not to blame.... BUT..... you don't need to deal with that BS either... your farm, your rules...
Slinging the 2x4 's over the fence in with the kids would have put him and whichever parent he was with, off the property RIGHT NOW.....
Did he actually kill the kid and hurt an adult goat???? I would have been hard pressed to not beat the living tar out of him.....
I'd sling a couple 2x4's back... but I'd get arrested for child abuse...

Hope the hot wire ate him up.....

Just looked out window and kid's chasing 3 tame goats, that were let in yard to eat, WITH a stick & hitting them, running after them. You betcha I went out, got him by the arm and brought his sorry butt back up to her. Yes scolded every step!! He's screaming & crying because he knows he's in trouble. Probably afraid of me. I told her to take him & leave. Not having this shi/....🤬 Gone for now. DS upset, raised his voice to me. I told him to shut up and he could leave also.

Yes, a child. One who needs guidance & control.
Yes, hot box was reading 14! Bet it stung.

The goat he hit yesterday wasn't injured. But... I have some 4 day olds that could have been, close by. Just can't have it. I've never seen a child this age, this out of control. Too much junk food, no routine, no guidance. Animal cruelty leads to crimes....

So much for a good weekend off. 🫤😖

Glad you snatched him up and made an impression that will hopefully stick with him for a long time. Were DS and ex witness to this act? If so - shame on them for not handling it! I've had kids on my farm who wanted to chase chickens. I said no and parents were like "it's just a chicken." But guess what? It's MY chicken and we don't abuse chickens on MY farm. What a way to ruin a day... Sorry you had to deal with that!

No, both inside....last week he found a can of spray paint 🙄 thankfully almost empty!! I have some blue cement & a spotted porch post now. There's things being relocated....DS tools, etc. Holes dug. All bored kid stuff. @4.5 he's old enough to do better, know better, not repeat.!

They hollar "stop". I went and got hold. My stop command was loud & clear. We don't treat animals this way!!!!! And these goats were in your pocket bottle babes, totally confused. I'm unhappy. I'm angry at the adults. I'm stopping it, whatever it takes.

A 4.5 yr old should not have been out in yard unsupervised anyway.... not his yard, so not like it is his "play yard" ... you just don't leave kids that age outside unsupervised...... THE PARENTS should have the tar beat out of them for allowing it... and leaving the kid alone outside....
Yes, bored kid stuff... BUT.... they are the parents, supposed to be "responsible" for their kid... not your place unless you were babysitting and I know you would not have left him out there unsupervised to start with.......

So sorry for the bottle kids finding out about the cruel world when they were always treated with love and respect and in their own "home"....

My son is not related. The exGF is grandma. Kids mom, not being one. No dad around, out of wedlock to her teen girl. Yes to not being out there alone. Yes to whooping his butt. He's a big boy, ain't no little scrawny thing. Looks like a 6yr old. Back to the kid is NOT being taught, routined, controlled, it's shameful. 😔. But he's a hellion right now. I've set my limits. Limited visitors.

Can you tell, DS was not raised this way. I was strict. We had a routine, rules, healthy cooked meals, chores, homework, a bedtime. Butt whoopings if needed. Good old fashioned home.

@Mini Horses you did the right thing. My opinion but I think most kids need physical punishment at certain points.
Totally agree... a good tanning on the backside... a crack across the hand that is hitting something else...

They need to learn young that there are consequences for bad behavior.. I could not be a parent in this day and age... There were a couple times that DS got a crack across his butt... and he didn't do it again....
