Nice weather today. As everyone knows I live down 30 plus miles of dirt/rock road. Got to town and got pulled over by the local sheriff department, why, cause my license plate is too dirty can’t read it. Seriously this is for you ,,!,, asked if the rifle was loaded and I said, well duh it isn’t useful if it isn’t. While pulled over the local city PD joined in to give me a citation for public nuisance over my property in town, citing I was dumping schit on it. That’s arse backwards, I have been cleaning it up. Very pised this morning.

Pictures of any of the city vehicles or something with dirt covered license plates also????

Coffee is ready. I slaughtered 14 chickens yesterday and got them all processed and in the freezer by 10:00 last night. Borrowing a neighbor’s truck to go get a super bag of feed this morning. Loading mine up tomorrow to take to the shop in Madisonville.

Today I should be getting the rebuilt tractor starter back and the bill. I'm bracing for it. Not gonna be good, I'm sure. Scheduled my work at a store sorta near -- better than two trips, store & dealer on separate days. Once it can be started again we can address the other issues to start using it again

Right now, there's no work set for next week. Yep another week off -- hope weather is better than last week's time off, big wind all week. Want to get these roof panels switched out on the barn, without being blown off. More things to get done, hopefully.

Better get out of here and to work for today.

Moving slow, slept through to 5ish, rolled over until 7. Wonderful!

It's raining, supposedly an all day thing, so no coop work. I can find lots of inside stuff to do. I also need to go to the credit union, pick up my repaired mower, and pick up the fence gates and concrete ("cinder") blocks at Lowe's. I feel that there's something else I'm supposed to do...

Raining!!!. Really going at it steady. Was supposed to be off/on "sprinkles" today, heavy tonight. Boo hoo!! If this keeps up, gonna be a big mess.

Home from jobs & sitting in car, hoping for a slack to run to the house . Ain't happening. Puddles filling.

At least the starter is back. $286 so better than expected! Will swim there & to next store later.

Picked up the gates at Lowe's. We're having rain showers on and off. After putting the boxes in the main shed I came inside to change my shoes and socks, I hate damp feet!

Now to pick up my lawnmower...
