Wait a minute. You are going up on a barn roof switching roof panels? Surely not all by yourself?!
Have in past, can again. :idunno of course, I'll ask DS to do but, if he doesn't I will. Need them off the ground! It's only a one story -- not a problem for that. I'm still a tree climber šŸ˜‚ and he's an actual framer & roofer.

My vacation starts tomorrow at 7:30 am! Going to visit daughter and family in Portland, Oregon for a week. Often when I’m on vacation I have more free time to participate on the forum. So we shall see. I shouldn’t be on here now. I still have a bazillion and one things to do before I leave.

Speaking of the 3:00 club, I couldn’t sleep either. Went to bed at 10:00 and laid there for 3 hours with mind racing. Finally gave up at 1 and got up. Made some cocoa and then planned out my schedule for the next 24 hours. (I am now officially 1 hour behind schedule.šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø)

Went back to bed around 3:30 and still couldn’t sleep. I know I did eventually because DH woke me up at 7 when he got ready for work. šŸ™‡ā€ā™€ļø Couldn’t get back to sleep again after that. Traveling makes me anxious. It’s more the worrying about leaving the farm in other peoples hands than the travel part. I can never get everything done that I think I should. Today will be no different. But at least I will have the ā€œmust-do’sā€ out of the way early. The rest can be skipped if necessary. :caf

I am so freaking happy! The local grocery store has toastie raviolis!!! These breaded baked meat raviolis are common near St Louis and unheard of down here in Texas. They were a staple growing up and I normally only get them if I visit the folks. I bought every box they had out. I think I scared the cashier with my manic grin.

I never slept the night before a road trip. I would wake up my dh about 3am, say "I can't sleep, want to get going?" and we'd leave early. It would hit me mid-morning, so I would find a source of coffee, and keep drinking until mid-afternoon. Triple espressos were my friends 🤣🤣🤣

Have fun! We were up there last week in March. Lots of rain, but ohhhhh the green and flower and all those buds about to burst. AWESOME food. If you head to wine country - check out Briar Rose Creamery - FABULOUS cheeses.

We are lucky because it’s not calling for rain while we are there. This will be our 3rd time visiting, and so far it’s mostly been sunny. They keep telling us it always rains, but it’s hard for us to believe.

First time we visited the Tillamook creamery, but we didn’t feel like taking the tour. I will have to look up this Briar Rose one.

It's in Dundee. Very small but very good. In the heart of wine country.
